Garage Door Springs Replaced
Most two car garage doors have 2 springs but many only have one spring.
I put 2 springs on whenever possible because its safer to have two.
But whether I put on 1 or two the price is the same. The garage door springs I sell are all rated for 18,000 cycles minimum and should last 8 – 10 years under normal use.
If you think your springs didn’t last as long as they should have I can get you high cycle springs but they are special order and may not be available for same day service.

Garage Doors Off Track
A door off track is usually caused by the door being closed and hitting an obstruction.
That or by someone hitting the door with a car. Misalignment of the tracks can also cause this.

If the problem is the tracks there will usually be black marks on the back side of the wood jams, just inside from the door rubbing and thus binding up on the wood.
Sometimes the door will even be digging grooves into the wood. This is a problem that I will correct to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
